Admission to Private Sessions is open only to those currently taking private lessons with a Macquarie Ice Rink qualified and registered APSA Professional.

Skate Sharpening
Private skates may be left at Macquarie Ice Rink for professional sharpening. $20 fee (additional fee for very old rusty skates). Phone 9888 1100 for collection details.
Macquarie Ice Skating Club (MISC)
The Macquarie Ice Skating Club operates on Monday evenings from 5:15pm to 7:15pm and Friday evenings from 5:15 to 6:45pm at the Macquarie Ice Rink.
MISC is the largest in Australia, and boasts more State and National Champions than any other Club.
During private sessions, the Club Committee are available to help with membership enquiries, entries for Aussie Skate competitions, tests and National Championships. The MISC website is www.macquarieice.com.
Each year the Club runs the MIRA Trophy - the largest artistic skating competition in Australia - which is open to all levels and divisions of skaters.
Spectators welcome to all competitions and special events held at Macquarie Ice Rink.
MIRA Trophy
This prestigious event is held at the Macquarie Ice Rink each year. For full details, contact MISC. Spectators are welcome at a small fee (adults $8, children $6) to witness some excellent skating and entertainment.

Macquarie Ice Rink is located in Macquarie Shopping Centre on the corner of Waterloo and Herring Roads, North Ryde 2113 Sydney Australia.
We are open every day except Christmas Day and operate with day and night sessions. These sessions differ between school term and school holidays, so take care when checking session times.

Train: To Macquarie University Station.
Bus: To Macquarie Shopping Centre/Macquarie University.
Car: Unlimited parking anywhere within the Shopping Centre. First 3 hours parking is free (we can validate an extra hour upon request).
