Looking for a COOL place to host your birthday party, Macquarie Ice Rink is the place to be. Our friendly staff are here make your birthday party experience special.

Our party times are:

Saturday and Sundays

11:30am to 2pm

We recommend guests arrive by 11:15am

All of our birthday parties are hosted by one of our friendly staff members. They will you greet you upon arrival, measure the party attendees skate size, take you to your party area and assist in putting skates on correctly.

Our host’s are experienced skaters and will conduct a 20 minute mini lesson which will commence off the ice to assist participants with their balance, learn how to fall over and get up correctly before moving onto the ice. The on ice lesson will include balancing, correct way to fall over and get up, marching across the ice and more advanced skills if the participants already have some skating experience.

Once the mini lesson is over the party guests are free to skate around with their friends whilst your party host makes sure your food orders are being prepared.

Parents hosting the party are welcome to join the party on the ice for free (2 parents / guardians), this is non transferable.

Our parties are recommended for children aged 6 to 14years.

PACKAGE & INCLUSIONS

Pricing

Our party packages are set at $40 per child.

Important information - please read

$400 minimum spend is required for every birthday party regardless of numbers.

$200 deposit required upon booking

Public holiday surcharge of $75

Remaining balance MUST be paid by the Monday prior to the party date.

Cancellations more than 7 days prior to the party day will receive a 50% refund of the deposit ($100)

Cancellations within 7 days of the party and prior to final payment date (no refund of deposit) 

Cancellations after final payment due date: no refund of total party fee.  

In the case of the party being cancelled due to the party child contracting COVID a credit equal to the amount of the party will be provided to use during any public skating session upon receipt of a Dr certificate.   

In the case the ice rink can not run the party due to exceptional circumstances i.e COVID lockdown etc a full refund will be provided.

Party Host

All parties will be provided with a party host who will measure and assist with putting skates on. They will conduct a 20 minute mini lesson to help the children gain confidence on the ice.

You may request additional hosts at an extra charge of $100. Extra hosts will depend on staff availability.

Party Requirements

• Party members should meet in our foyer at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the party.

• Party guests should make themselves known to staff on arrival.

• The parent/s of the child having the party are welcome to skate free of charge, however this is not transferable.

• Party guests will need to bring a pair of socks and warm clothing.

• Macquarie Ice Rink recommends the wearing of helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves.
