Group Rates

Group Size 10-14 15 or more
Per Skater $22 $19

Group discounts are available for any general skating session and should be booked in advance (by phone or email).
It is recommended that groups arrive 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the session for a speedy entry.
Payment for groups must be made in one lump sum (no individual payments). Cash or credit card is available (Visa or Mastercard).
Groups will be eligible for one leader to skate for free per 20 skaters.


Session Cards

PLEASE NOTE PRICE INCREASES FROM THE 1st APRIL 2024:

Green Card: $180

Session cards allow 10 entrances to the Rink and are available for skaters who wish to skate on a regular basis at a reduced rate, who have their own skates. There are 3 types of cards available, each denoted by a different colour. The right card for you depends on the sessions in which you wish to skate.

Red Card Green Card Blue Card
Permits you to skate at any public session. Permits you to skate at any of the Figure Sessions set aside for those skaters who take private lessons. Permits you to skate on Coffee Club mornings and lessons.

Please note that session cards:

  • Do not include skate hire as you must have your own skates.

  • Are non-refundable.

  • Are non-transferrable (each card is allocated to one, and only one person).

  • Must be used within 36 months (3 years) from date of purchase.

  • Do not cover special sessions such as competitions, tests, hockey, shows etc.


Quarterly Tickets

Quarterly tickets offer substantial savings for the serious skater with his/her own skates. For a specified price, skaters can attend unlimited sessions during a 3 month period.

Quarterly tickets may be used for all Public Sessions as well as Figure (Green Card) sessions, provided the ticket holder is currently taking private lessons.

Quarterly ticket holders must be present their ticket to the cashier before each entry to the Rink.

As the quarter progresses, the two-monthly and one-monthly tickets become available.

Please note that quarterly tickets:

  • Do not include skate hire (ticket holders must have their own skates).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Macquarie Ice Rink abides by NSW Health recommendations.

2. Any patron(s) who are deemed to be acting in a manor considered to be unsafe to others may be asked to leave the premises.

3. You may be asked to leave the premises if you display symptoms of COVID-19 or fail to co-operate with our Terms and Conditions .Macquarie Ice Rink abides by NSW Health recommendations.

4. Skaters skate at their own risk. As with all sports, ice skating can be dangerous with risk of injury. All persons at the rink have an obligation to ensure the health and safety of themselves and others around them.

Skaters and spectators are responsible for the identification of risks to which they are exposed. By engaging in ice skating, skaters and spectators are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks of ice skating which include but are not limited to:

  • injuries as the result of collisions with other skaters or other individuals on the ice floor

  • injuries which are the result of falls

  • injuries that involve objects that are properly within the intended path of travel of the skater
